AstroTurf cleaner Minty scented. Easy to use and dilute to desired strength.The upper end of the price for the quantity you receive - I diluted this with a 1 part liquid 5 parts water and I could smell the fragrance for a few hours but with the hot weather the urine smells promptly came back. It removes odours effectively and leaves the surface looking cleaner without residue.The area cover depends on what surface you have under the artificial grass, if it’s concrete it’s a much smaller ratio so doesn’t cover as much area. Really Handy for Keeping Our Artificial Grass Fresh. I bought this because we have artificial grass and, with having a dog, it can get a bit smelly, especially when the weather is warm. I wanted something that would help get rid of the smell without using anything too harsh.I've been really happy with this so far. It's a thick gel, so it doesn't just disappear into the grass as soon as you put it down. It's easy to spread around and doesn't make a huge mess while you're using it.The main reason I bought it was for the dog urine smell, and it has definitely helped. After using it, the grass smells much fresher and the usual doggy smell is noticeably reduced.I also like that it doesn't have that really strong chemical smell that you get with some outdoor cleaners. The 1-litre bottle is a good size too, and I think it should last me quite a while.I've also used a bit on the patio where the dog tends to walk after going outside, and it's been useful there as well.Overall, I'm really pleased with it. It's easy to use, doesn't smell harsh and has made a noticeable difference to keeping our artificial grass smelling fresh. Very effective - nice smelling too I’m a recent convert to the world of artificial grass, having been inspired by a neighbour who got a patch for her dog to use. Our back garden is all stone flags and raised beds so it’s not welcoming for our little dog when she needs to answer a call of nature at short notice. In most cases our regular walks are enough for her needs, but occasionally she needs to go outside and it just won’t wait. Artificial grass is the answer to that problem and this cleaner is the solution to the problem that arises afterwards.It’s more than just a general cleaner that uses an anti-surfactant to remove dirt, although it does have that element. In this product there’s an enzymatic element that breaks down the stuff that causes odours: that detritus has attached itself to the inner pile of the artificial grass and as it decays it produces the odour. This cleaner helps to break that down rather than just trying to release it so it can be washed away.It really does work well and I’ve found it best to use it last thing at night and let it sit until morning. There’s a fresh odour that adds to the general feeling of cleanliness and makes the grass much more pleasant to be around.It’s not cheap so you’ll have to make up your own mind about whether it’s good value for money. Our artificial grass was looking a bit tired and we weren’t sure what to do with it as it’s in a commercial setting in our pub restaurant premises so has a lot of footfall, spilt food and drinks. We have a dog, and it was starting to hold onto those unpleasant urine smells, especially in warm weather. Definitely the best Artificial Grass Cleaner/Odour Remover I have used for eradicating dog pee smellDefinitely the best Artificial Grass Cleaner/Odour Remover I have used for eradicating dog pee smell I have tried quite a few artificial grass cleaners in recent years, but this one has really impressed me. I treated our artificial grass a week ago & unlike many others I have used, the lovely fresh melon fragrance is still noticeable every day. Most cleaners seem to lose their scent after just a couple of days, so this has been a pleasant surprise.As we have drought restrictions in Devon, with a hosepipe ban, I took the opportunity to clean this grass after the only rainfall we had in weeks whilst it was still wet as this cleaner required the artificial grass to be wet, unlike others that is sprayed on dry grass. I used a watering can to mix the cleaner & spread across the grass, then brushed it as per instructions. The thick gel was easy to apply & the method gave me confidence that it was definitely cleaning the grass & removing dog urine odours.I only used half of the 1 litre bottle to cover our lawn so I have sufficient for another clean in a month's time which makes it good value as well. During the summer months, the warm weather brings out the unpleasant dog urine smells, so I find that it needs to be cleaned more frequently than the rest of the year.
